This program is built around one of the most fascinating trios of the last century: Presence by B.A. Zimmerman. An imaginary ballet / theatre piece with the characters Don Quixote (the violin), Molly Bloom (cello) and Ubu-roi (piano); three characters from world literature (Cervantes, Joyce and Jarry) who enter into a musical dialogue with each other and "philosophise" about dance and movement.

The first half of the concert is devoted to two other greats of contemporary music: Salvatore Sciarrino and Jonathan Harvey.
